Dr. Yen, (she/her/hers) is a queer identifying, 1st generation Chinese immigrant, and self-proclaimed culinary artist. She is an evidence-based naturopathic doctor that uses modalities such as: botanical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, nutritional counselling, and movement therapy. Dr. Yen provides holistic care by focusing on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Her goal is to provide a cross-culturally informed, racially conscious, and LGBTQIA2S+ inclusive environment for healing.
Your first visit with Dr. Yen will begin with an honest conversation about your health goals. Together, you will work to discover and remove obstacles to your optimal health (e.g., diet, digestion, stress, sleep, energy). As a team, we will identify and treat the root cause of those obstacles, rather than solely treat your symptoms. In follow-up appointments, you and Dr. Yen will work to stimulate the body’s innate healing abilities and restore weakened systems. Every patient’s healing journey is unique. The naturopathic treatment(s) will be realistic, simple, and sustainable for your lifestyle. We look forward to supporting your vision of health and wellness.

Founder and Microdosing Coach
My name is Donald Gauvreau and I’ve been an educator, researcher and product formulator in the natural health products industry for over 25 years now. Prior to this, I worked as a Kinesiologist and Corporate Fitness Consultant. I also have an extensive background in strength and conditioning training and have coached athletes in a wide variety of sports.
My academic background includes a degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s of Science degree. My thesis research was focused on the effects of breakfast composition and intake on the cognitive function of school-aged children. I am also licensed by the Ontario College of Teachers.
I’ve founded a few different companies and brands in the natural health and sports nutrition space, including SD Pharmaceuticals® and PharmaFreak®, and during this time I spent most of my efforts researching and developing fat loss and hormone-related products for both men and women. I sold my stake in PharmaFreak and SD Pharmaceuticals in 2019 so I could focus all my time and energy on developing innovative holistic solutions, with a focus on mental health, cognitive function and pain relief.
I am the founder of Conscious Mind Clinic – a holistic healthcare clinic with a focus on mental health, somatic therapy and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Our mission is to change the current landscape of healthcare, and help people heal, grow and thrive in meaningful ways.
Over the past 6 years, I have been studying a variety of different plants and fungi (mushrooms) and how they can be effectively used in a microdosing format. I’ve formulated a variety of different microdosing products and have personally used them to optimize my own performance, cognitive function and overall health and wellbeing.
I am extremely passionate about alternative medicine, natural health solutions, nutrition, fitness and living a holistic lifestyle to achieve peak performance and optimal health and wellbeing. I love sharing my knowledge, experience and wisdom to help people improve their health and wellbeing.
